2. Turkey Chili

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey (99% fat-free)

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes

  • 1 can (14 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1 can (14 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, sauté onion and garlic for 2–3 minutes.

  2. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.

  3. Add tomatoes, beans, broth, and spices.

  4. Simmer uncovered on low heat for 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Adjust seasoning as needed.
