Yogurt Fruit Parfait

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 cup granola or muesli
  • 1 cup mixed fresh fruits (strawberries, blueberries, mango, banana, kiwi, etc.)
  • 2 tbsp nuts or seeds (almonds, walnuts, chia, or pumpkin seeds)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Yogurt

  • If using plain yogurt, mix in honey or maple syrup for a touch of sweetness.

2. Layer the Parfait

  1. In a clear glass or jar, add 2–3 spoonfuls of yogurt as the first layer.
  2. Add a layer of granola.
  3. Add a layer of mixed fruits.
  4. Repeat layers until the glass is full, finishing with fruits on top.

3. Garnish & Serve

  • Sprinkle with nuts, seeds, and a drizzle of honey.
  • Add a mint leaf for a fresh finish.
  • Serve immediately for crunch, or refrigerate for 1–2 hours for a softer texture.

 Tips & Variations

  • Make-ahead breakfast: Store in mason jars overnight (add granola right before serving to keep it crunchy).
  • Protein boost: Add a scoop of protein powder to the yogurt.
  • Dessert style: Use flavored yogurt, dark chocolate chips, or a drizzle of fruit compote.
