1 (3 to 4 pounds) beef brisket

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons tomato paste

In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper.
Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket, covering it completely.
