Savory Cabbage Pancakes with Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients:

For the Cabbage Pancakes:

– 500g cabbage, finely shredded
– Vegetable oil
– 2 onions, finely chopped
– 3 cloves of garlic, minced
– 3 eggs
– 4 tablespoons flour (60g)
– 1 teaspoon salt (8g)
– 1 teaspoon ground red pepper (4g)
– 1 teaspoon black pepper (4g)

For Frying:

– Vegetable oil

For the Yogurt Sauce:

– 3 tablespoons yogurt (75g)
– 2 sprigs of dill, chopped
– 1 cucumber, grated
– Red powdered pepper (to taste)

Instructions:

For the Cabbage Pancakes:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine finely shredded cabbage, finely chopped onions, minced garlic, eggs, flour, salt, ground red pepper, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Spoon portions of the cabbage mixture into the skillet to form individual pancakes. Flatten them slightly with a spatula.
4. Fry the pancakes on both sides until they are golden brown and crispy. You may need to do this in batches.
5. Remove the fried pancakes and place them on paper towels to drain any excess oil.

For the Yogurt Sauce:

1. In a separate bowl, mix yogurt, chopped dill, grated cucumber, and red powdered pepper to taste. Adjust the spiciness to your liking.
