Roasted Garlic Spinach White Pizza

Roasted Garlic Spinach White Pizza

Ingredients:

1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 1/2 cups fresh spinach leaves

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Cornmeal (optional, for dusting)

Directions:

Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.

Prepare Garlic Oil:

In a small pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant and lightly golden, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.

Prepare Dough:

Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness. If using a pizza stone, dust a pizza peel with cornmeal to prevent sticking, and place the rolled-out dough on it. Alternatively, place the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Assemble Pizza:

Brush the garlic-infused olive oil over the entire surface of the pizza dough.

Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the dough, followed by a layer of shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan.

Top with fresh spinach leaves.

Sprinkle dried oregano, salt, and pepper over the top.

Bake:

Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza stone or place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

Serve:

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy!
