Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork
1 onion, finely chopped
1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded provolone cheese
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup sliced green onions
1/2 cup sliced roasted red peppers
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, onion, green bell pepper, garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Press half of the meat mixture into the bottom of a loaf pan. Layer half of the provolone cheese, mushrooms, green onions, and roasted red peppers over the meat mixture. Top with the remaining meat mixture and press to seal the edges. Bake for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining provolone cheese over the top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve slices of this savory meatloaf with a side of vegetables or mashed potatoes for a satisfying meal!
Enjoy!
