Ingredients:

Cream:

  • 1 egg
  • 110 g sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar or essence
  • 1 and a half tablespoons of cornstarch (Maizena type)
  • 350 g of natural yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Mass:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 180 g wheat flour
  • 400 ml of milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Preparation method:

Start by preparing the cream.

In a saucepan, combine the egg, sugar, vanilla sugar (or extract), and cornstarch. Mix well. 

Add the yogurt and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the cream thickens. Finally, add the butter and mix until well combined.

Transfer the cream to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let cool to room temperature.

Now, prepare the dough:

In a bowl, place the eggs, add a pinch of salt and sugar. Beat well with a whisk. 

Add the flour, milk, and melted butter. Mix until smooth. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the dough rest for 10 minutes. 

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour in the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. After baking, let cool for 10 minutes.

After the resting time, remove the dough from the parchment paper and place it on a clean surface. 

Spread the cream evenly over the entire surface of the dough. Carefully roll the dough into a Swiss roll and refrigerate for a while.

Dust with powdered sugar and cut into slices to serve.
