Ingredients

For the dough:

    • 2 eggs
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
    • 100g of traditional sugar (crystal)
    • 70 ml vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (130 g)
  • 220 g wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder (Royal type)

For the filling:

  • 3 to 4 apples (peeled and sliced)
  • Cinnamon powder to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar

For the farofa (crunchy topping):

  • 3 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of butter (or margarine) at room temperature

Preparation method:

In a bowl, beat the eggs with the salt, vanilla sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 4 to 5 minutes).

Then add the oil and sour cream, mixing well until everything is well incorporated.

Add the wheat flour mixed with the yeast and stir until a smooth, even dough forms. Pour into a buttered baking dish.

Mix the apple slices with the sugar and cinnamon to taste, and distribute evenly over the dough.
