Mango Graham Cake (Mango Float) Recipe
A Filipino classic dessert that’s creamy, refreshing, and oh-so-easy to make! With layers of graham crackers, whipped cream, and sweet ripe mangoes, this no-bake treat is pure happiness in every bite.
Ingredients:
-
2 cups all-purpose cream (chilled overnight)
-
1 can (300 ml) sweetened condensed milk (chilled)
-
2 packs graham crackers
-
4–5 large ripe mangoes (peeled and thinly sliced)
-
Crushed graham crackers (for topping)
Instructions:
Step 1: Make the Cream Mixture
-
In a large chilled bowl, combine the chilled all-purpose cream and condensed milk.
-
Whip with a hand mixer (or whisk) until light, smooth, and creamy.
Step 2: Layer the Dessert
-
In a rectangular or square dish, arrange a single layer of graham crackers at the bottom.
-
Spread a generous amount of the cream mixture evenly over the crackers.
-
Arrange a layer of ripe mango slices on top of the cream.
Step 3: Repeat the Layers
-
Add another layer of graham crackers.
-
Spread more cream mixture.
-
Add more mango slices.
-
Continue layering until all ingredients are used, ending with cream and mango slices on top.
Step 4: Finish & Chill
-
Sprinkle crushed graham crackers on top for extra texture.
-
Cover the dish with plastic wrap.
-
Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours (overnight is best!) to allow the layers to set.
Serving Tips
-
Slice into squares and serve chilled.
-
For extra indulgence, drizzle with a little caramel or condensed milk before serving.
-
You can also freeze it for 1–2 hours before serving if you want it slightly firmer, like ice cream cake.
