Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen hashbrown potatoes

‍ Instructions

1. Prep

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

2. Cook Sausage

  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the sausage until fully cooked.

  • Remove from heat and set aside.

3. Cook Hashbrowns

  • In the same skillet, lightly brown the hashbrowns and defrost them, about 8–10 minutes.

4. Layer the Casserole

  • Spread the hashbrowns evenly in the bottom of the greased casserole dish.

  • Top with the cooked sausage.

  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the sausage.

  • Add the green chilis on top of the cheese.

5. Prepare the Egg Mixture

  • In a large bowl, whisk together:

    • 9 eggs

    • 2 cups milk

    • Garlic powder

    • Onion powder

    • Salt & pepper to taste

6. Assemble & Bake

  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over the casserole.

  • Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
