Lamb Meatballs with Mint Yogurt Sauce
Ingredients
1 lb ground lamb
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
Mint Yogurt Sauce:
1 cup Greek yogurt
2 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a bowl, mix ground lamb, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper.
Form into 1-inch meatballs.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear meatballs on all sides, then transfer to oven for 10–12 minutes until cooked through.
Combine Greek yogurt, mint, lemon juice, and salt for the sauce.
Serve meatballs with mint yogurt sauce for dipping or drizzling.
