Instant Pot Pot Roast! Hearty and delicious, 1f9551f3561f954
Ingredients:
– 3-4 pounds beef chuck roast
– 4 carrots, chopped
– 4 potatoes, chopped
– 1 onion, chopped
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 cups beef broth
– 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
– 2 teaspoons salt
– 1 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 1 teaspoon rosemary
Directions:
1. Start by seasoning your beef roast with salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and rosemary to really lock in that flavor.
2. Set your Instant Pot to ‘Saute’ mode and let it heat up. Sear the beef on all sides until it’s beautifully browned. This step adds so much depth to your pot roast!
3. Once browned, remove the beef from the pot. Toss in the chopped onions and minced garlic, sauté them until they are nice and translucent—this shouldn’t take long!
4. Now, it’s time to bring the beef back to the pot! Add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce to the mix for a rich sauce that will make your pot roast unforgettable.
5. Top it all off with the chopped carrots and potatoes. They’ll cook perfectly while soaking in all that delicious flavor.
6. Close the lid of your Instant Pot, set the valve to sealing, and select ‘Manual’ to cook for 60 minutes.
7. Once it’s done, let it naturally release for 15 minutes, then switch to quick release to safely let out any remaining steam.
