Ingredients :
– 2 cups of heavy cream
– 1 cup of whole milk
– 3/4 cup of brown sugar
– 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– 1/4 teaspoon of salt
– 1 1/2 cups of pecans, roasted and chopped
– 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter

1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped pecans and toast for 3-5 minutes until soft. Set aside to cool.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract and salt until sugar is dissolved.

4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream machine and rotate according to manufacturer’s instructions (usually about 20-25 minutes).
5. Transfer ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for 4 hours or until firm.
