- In a large, microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth. You can also melt the chocolate and condensed milk over a double boiler on the stove.
- Add Marshmallows and Vanilla:
- Once the white chocolate is melted and smooth, stir in the mini marshmallows and vanilla extract. The marshmallows will begin to melt slightly, creating a creamy, chewy texture in the nougat.
- Mix in Dried Fruits and Nuts:
- Fold in the chopped dried fruits and nuts, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the nougat mixture.
- Pour into a Pan:
- Line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal. Pour the nougat mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
