Healthy Chocolate Cake (No Sugar, No Flour, No Butter)

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas (natural sweetness)

  • 2 eggs

  • 33g cocoa powder (about ⅓ cup)

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 60g dark chocolate (about 2 ounces, at least 70% cocoa recommended)


‍ Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven

    • Set your oven to 180°C (350°F).

    • Grease a small cake tin (or line with parchment paper).

  2. Mash the Bananas

    • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.

    • The riper the bananas, the sweeter your cake will be.

  3. Add Eggs

    • Crack in the eggs and whisk until fully combined with the banana puree.

  4. Mix Dry Ingredients

    • Sift in the cocoa powder and baking powder.

    • Stir until a smooth, lump-free batter forms.

  5. Melt the Chocolate

    • In a microwave or over a double boiler, melt the dark chocolate until silky.

    • Let it cool slightly, then fold it into the batter.

  6. Bake

    • Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin.

    • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  7. Cool & Serve

    • Let the cake cool before slicing.
