This recipe is for a single serving.

Ingredients:

  • 1 green apple
  • 1 banana
  • 1 piece of ginger (start with a small piece, about 1 inch, and adjust to your taste)
  • 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • 180 ml of coconut milk

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the fruit: Wash the green apple thoroughly. You can peel it or leave the skin on, as the skin contains fiber and nutrients. Cut the apple into chunks, removing the core. Peel the banana and break it into a few pieces.
  2. Prepare the ginger: Peel the ginger root and chop it into small pieces. Be mindful of how much you add, as ginger can have a strong, spicy flavor. Start with a small amount and you can always add more to taste.
  3. Combine ingredients: Place the apple chunks, banana pieces, chopped ginger, chia seeds, and coconut milk into a blender.
  4. Blend: Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add a little more coconut milk or water to reach your desired consistency.
