Giant Muffuletta Sandwich (Quick Version)
Serves: 4–6

Olive Salad:
- 1 cup green olives, 1 cup black olives (chopped)
- ½ cup roasted red peppers
- ¼ cup pickled giardiniera
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp basil
- Salt & pepper
- Mix all together. Chill 1 hr (or overnight).
Sandwich Build
1 large round loaf (Italian or French)
¼ lb each: salami, mortadella, chicken ham
¼ lb each: provolone, mozzarella
1. Slice bread. Scoop some inside if thick.
2. Spread half olive salad on bottom.
3. Layer meats & cheeses.
4. Spread rest of olive salad on top bread.
5. Wrap sandwich tightly. Press with heavy pan for 30–60 min.
6. Slice into wedges. Serve at room temp.
