- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella/Colby Jack)
- 2 tbsp ketchup + 1 tbsp mustard (optional, for classic burger flavor)
For the Dough
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands) or pizza dough
- OR homemade bread/roll dough
Garlic Butter Topping
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Cook the Beef Filling
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until beef is browned and onions are soft.
- Season with salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika.
- Stir in ketchup + mustard if using. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Mix in shredded cheese so it melts into the beef mixture.
2. Prepare the Dough
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out each biscuit/pizza dough portion into a small circle.
3. Fill & Seal the Bombs
- Place 1–2 tbsp of the beef-cheese filling in the center of each dough circle.
- Carefully pull dough edges over the filling and pinch to seal tightly.
- Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
4. Garlic Butter Topping
- Mix melted butter, minced garlic, Parmesan, and parsley.
- Brush each bomb generously with the mixture.
5. Bake
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
- Brush with extra garlic butter when hot (optional for extra flavor).
6. Serve
- Enjoy warm with dipping sauces like ketchup, ranch, or garlic aioli.
- These are also amazing with a side of crispy fries or salad.
Tips & Variations
- Stuffed surprise: Add a pickle slice or jalapeño in the center before sealing for extra zing.
- Cheese lovers: Use a cube of cheddar or mozzarella inside each bomb for a melty cheese core.
- Make ahead: Assemble and refrigerate, then bake just before serving.
