Garlic Butter Roasted Chicken with Honey-Glazed Carrots & Green Beans
A wholesome and flavor-packed dinner that looks gourmet but is surprisingly simple! Juicy, golden roasted chicken brushed with garlic butter, sweet honey-glazed carrots, and crisp-tender green beans — all made with everyday ingredients and ready in under an hour.
Ingredients
For the Roasted Chicken:

1 whole chicken breast or ½ chicken (about 500–700 g)

2 tbsp melted butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp olive oil

½ tsp paprika

For the Honey-Glazed Carrots:

1 cup baby carrots

1 tbsp butter

1 tbsp honey

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sautéed Green Beans:

1 cup fresh green beans

1 tbsp olive oil

1 clove garlic, minced

Pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
1. Roast the Chicken

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).

Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.

Rub it generously with melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Place the chicken on a baking tray lined with foil or parchment.

Roast for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and juices run clear.

Squeeze over a lemon wedge before serving for a bright finish.
2. Make the Honey-Glazed Carrots

In a skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat.

Stir in 1 tbsp honey and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Add baby carrots and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender and glossy (about 8–10 minutes).

3. Sauté the Green Beans

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add green beans, salt, and pepper; cook for 5–7 minutes until crisp-tender and vibrant green.
4. Serve
