Fresh Orange Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium-sized oranges (peeled and deseeded)

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (or any yogurt of your choice)

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional for flavor depth)

  • 1/2 cup cold water or orange juice (for blending)

  • 1 cup ice cubes (adjust for thickness)

  • A few orange slices (for garnish)


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Oranges:

    • Peel and deseed the oranges. You can also remove the white pith for a smoother texture.

    • If desired, segment the oranges for easier blending.

  2. Blend the Ingredients:

    • Add the orange segments to a blender.

    • Add yogurt, honey/maple syrup, vanilla extract, and water/juice.

    • Add ice cubes on top.

  3. Blend Until Smooth:

    • Blend on high for 1–2 minutes until the mixture is completely smooth and frothy.

  4. Taste & Adjust:

    • Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or thickness if needed (add more honey or a splash of water/juice).

  5. Serve:

    • Pour into glasses.

    • Garnish with a slice of orange on the rim for presentation.


Tips:

  • Use frozen orange segments for a thicker, chilled smoothie.

  • Add a banana or mango for a twist in flavor and extra creaminess.

  • Substitute dairy yogurt with coconut or almond yogurt for a vegan version.
