– 2 cups beef broth

– 1 tbsp tomato paste

– Herbs (thyme, bay leaves)

 

Instructions:

1. *Brown Ribs:* Sear short ribs in olive oil until browned.

2. *Sauté Veggies:* Cook onions, carrots, celery, and garlic until softened.

3. *Braise:* Add wine, broth, tomato paste, and herbs. Simmer covered for 2.5-3 hours until tender.

4. *Serve:* Strain sauce, skim fat, and serve ribs with sauce spooned over.
