Fiery Garlic Parmesan Chicken Fillets with Crispy Fries .
Ingredients:
For the Chicken Fillets:
4 boneless chicken breasts
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Crispy Fries:
4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt to taste
Vegetable oil for frying
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, marinate the chicken with buttermilk, garlic, paprika, cayenne, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let sit for at least 30 minutes.
Mix panko and Parmesan cheese in a shallow dish. Dredge each marinated chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to coat well.
Place chicken fillets on the prepared sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
Meanwhile, soak cut fries in cold water for 20 minutes. Drain and pat dry thoroughly.
Toss fries with cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat and fry the potatoes in batches until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Serve the crispy fries alongside the fiery chicken fillets with your favorite dipping sauce.
