Delicious Amish Country Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Directions
1. Set your oven to preheat at 350°F (175°C) so it’s ready when you are.
2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink. Drain off any extra fat to keep things nice and light.
3. In a big mixing bowl, stir together the cooked beef and onion, cream of mushroom soup, drained corn, diced tomatoes, cooked macaroni, garlic powder, paprika, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Add salt and pepper to your liking.
4. Pour that hearty mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and smooth it out.
5. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese evenly on top—because more cheese is always a good thing.
