Crispy Flatbread with Brie, Cranberries & Toasted Walnuts with a Hot Honey Drizzle
Ingredients:
- 2 flatbreads or naan
- 6 oz brie cheese, sliced (rind on or off, your choice)
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/3 cup walnuts, roughly chopped and toasted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh thyme leaves (optional, for garnish)
For the hot honey drizzle:
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4–1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to heat preference)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Brush each flatbread lightly with olive oil and place on a baking sheet.
Arrange slices of brie evenly across the flatbreads. Sprinkle with cranberries and toasted walnuts.
Bake for 8–10 minutes or until brie is melted and flatbreads are crisp and golden.
While flatbreads bake, combine honey and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan. Warm gently over low heat for 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat.
Once out of the oven, drizzle flatbreads generously with hot honey.
Garnish with fresh thyme leaves if desired. Slice and serve warm.
