Crispy Air Fryer Cabbage Wedges – smoky, crispy on the edges, and tender inside
Ingredients (serves 4):
1 medium green or savoy cabbage
2 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra crispiness)
Fresh parsley or dill, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Prep Cabbage – Remove outer leaves, cut cabbage into thick wedges (about 6–8 pieces), keeping the core intact so they don’t fall apart.
Season – In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Brush or drizzle mixture evenly over both sides of each wedge.
Air Fry – Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange wedges in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until edges are browned and crispy.
Optional Cheese Finish – During the last 2–3 minutes, sprinkle Parmesan on top for a cheesy crust.
Serve – Garnish with fresh parsley or dill. Serve hot with a squeeze of lemon or a dipping sauce (like garlic yogurt or tahini).
