Creamy Chicken with Herbs
Ingredients:
4 chicken thighs
200 ml crème fraîche
150 g button mushrooms
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
1 sprig rosemary
1 sprig thyme
100 ml chicken stock
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt, pepper
Directions:
Heat the olive oil in a pan.
Brown the chicken thighs until golden brown.
Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté for 2 minutes.
Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.
Pour in the chicken stock, add the herbs, and simmer for 20 minutes. Add the crème fraîche, season with salt and pepper, and let thicken over low heat.
Serve hot with rice or pasta. Tip: For a creamier sauce, add a knob of butter at the end
