Creamy Chicken Stroganoff Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Egg noodles or rice for serving
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.

Add the sliced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through.

Stir in the sliced mushrooms and flour, cooking for 2 minutes until the mushrooms begin to soften.

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.

Reduce the heat and stir in the sour cream until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve over egg noodles or rice, garnished with fresh parsley.
