Creamy Apple Coleslaw

 Recipe Instructions

    1. Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream (or Greek yogurt), granulated sugar, vinegar (or cider), and fresh lime juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until smooth and well combined.

    1. Prepare the Apples: To prevent the chopped apples from browning, you can toss them with a little extra lime juice (about 1 teaspoon) immediately after chopping.
    2. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, add the coleslaw mix, the chopped scallions, the chopped Granny Smith apple, and the chopped red apple.

  1. Toss the Coleslaw: Pour the prepared creamy dressing over the coleslaw mix and apples. Toss everything together gently until the cabbage, apples, and scallions are evenly coated in the dressing.
  2. Chill (Recommended): For the best flavor, cover the bowl and chill the coleslaw in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together.
  3. Serve: Give the coleslaw one final stir and serve chilled. Enjoy!
