Cinnamon-Walnut Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour

For the Filling:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prepare the dough: Combine warm milk and yeast, then add sugar, melted butter, eggs, and salt. Gradually add flour and knead until smooth.

2️⃣ Prepare the filling: Mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon into a paste.

3️⃣ Assemble the rolls: Spread the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the dough, sprinkle with walnuts, and roll into a log. Slice into 12 pieces.

4️⃣ Second rise: Let the rolls rise for 30-45 minutes.
