Cinnamon-Infused Pound Cake

Ingredients

2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour

1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened

1 ½ cups (300g) granulated sugar

4 large eggs

½ cup (120ml) whole milk

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

Prep the oven & pan

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or a bundt pan.

Mix dry ingredients

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

Cream butter & sugar

In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.

Stir in vanilla extract.

Combine wet & dry

Gradually add the dry mixture, alternating with milk.

Begin and end with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined (avoid overmixing).

For a sweet cinnamon ripple, gently fold in brown sugar with a few light swirls.

Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
