Ingredients
For the Soft Serve Ice Cream:
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
For the Chocolate Sauce:
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp heavy cream
1 tbsp light corn syrup (for shine)
Other:
Waffle cones
Optional: scoop of chocolate ice cream for the center
Instructions
1. Prepare the Soft Serve Base
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar dissolves.
Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve texture.
2. Make the Chocolate Sauce
In a heatproof bowl, add chocolate chips, butter, heavy cream, and corn syrup.
Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth and glossy. Let it cool slightly so it thickens but is still pourable.
3. Assemble the Cone
If using, place a scoop of chocolate ice cream inside the waffle cone as the base layer.
Pipe or swirl the vanilla soft serve ice cream high into the cone.
Generously drizzle the chocolate sauce over the ice cream, allowing it to run down the sides.
4. Serve Immediately
