Cake with Only 3 Ingredients ✨

Ingredients

  • 5 large eggs

  • 180g sugar (about ¾ cup + 2 tbsp)

  • 180g all-purpose flour (about 1 ½ cups)


‍ Preparation

  1. Whip the eggs & sugar

    • In a large bowl, beat the eggs with sugar for 6–7 minutes until pale, fluffy, and tripled in volume.

  2. Add the flour

    • Sift the flour.

    • Gently fold it into the egg mixture in small portions, being careful not to deflate the air.

  3. Bake

    • Pour batter into a 20 cm (8-inch) round pan lined with parchment paper.

    • Bake at 160°C (330°F) for about 50 minutes.

  4. Cool

    • When done, open the oven door slightly and let the cake cool inside for 10 minutes before removing.
