Beet, Ginger, Turmeric & Watermelon Juice

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium beets, peeled and chopped

  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled

  • 1-inch piece of fresh turmeric root (or 1 tsp turmeric powder)

  • 2 cups fresh watermelon, cubed and seeds removed

  • 1/2 cup water (optional, for desired consistency)

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional, for brightness)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients:

    • Wash and peel the beets, ginger, and turmeric.

    • Cut the watermelon into cubes, removing any seeds.

  2. Juicing Method (if using a juicer):

    • Feed the beets, ginger, turmeric, and watermelon through the juicer.

    • Add lemon juice if desired.

    • Stir and serve immediately over ice.

  3. Blending Method (if using a blender):

    • Add all ingredients to a blender, including the optional 1/2 cup water.

    • Blend until smooth.

    • Strain through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag to remove pulp, if a smoother texture is preferred.

    • Stir in lemon juice and serve chilled.
