Avocado, Banana, and Almond Smoothie
This creamy, nutritious smoothie is perfect for a healthy breakfast or a quick snack. The combination of avocado, banana, and almonds provides healthy fats, potassium, and protein to keep you full and energized.
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 ripe banana
- A handful of raw almonds (about 1/4 cup)
- 1 cup of milk (dairy or non-dairy like almond milk or oat milk)
- 1-2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
- A few ice cubes (optional, for a colder, thicker smoothie)
Instructions:
- Prepare the ingredients: Peel and slice the banana. Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh.
- Combine in the blender: Add the sliced banana, avocado flesh, and raw almonds to your blender.
- Add liquid and sweetener: Pour in the milk of your choice. If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add honey or maple syrup now.
- Blend: Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick, you can add a little more milk. If you want it colder, add a few ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
