Golden, crispy, and packed with flavor—these air fryer potatoes are the perfect side dish or snack, ready in under 30 minutes. With just a handful of pantry spices and baby potatoes, you get a deliciously crunchy outside and fluffy inside without deep frying.
Ingredients:
-
1½ lbs (680g) baby potatoes, halved
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet, your choice)
-
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Preparation Instructions:
-
Prep the Potatoes:
Wash and dry the baby potatoes. Cut them in half. For larger ones, quarter them to ensure even cooking. -
Season:
In a large bowl, toss the halved potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat each piece evenly. -
Arrange in Air Fryer:
Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer for the crispiest results. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer. -
Air Fry:
Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes, shaking or flipping the potatoes halfway through.
They’re ready when golden, crispy on the outside, and fork-tender inside. -
Serve:
Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy them hot, garnished with fresh herbs (optional) like parsley, rosemary, or chives.

Add chili flakes or cayenne for heat.
-
Toss with lemon zest and chopped rosemary before serving for a Mediterranean touch.

-
Storage: Let leftovers cool and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
-
Reheating: Pop back in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes to re-crisp.
