No-Bake 5-Ingredient Lemon Biscuit Dessert

Servings: 8–10 | Prep Time: 15 minutes | Chill Time: 1–2 hours
A creamy, tangy, and indulgent dessert made with just 5 ingredients. No oven needed—just mix, layer, and chill!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz / 395 g) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 package (7 oz / 200 g) Maria biscuits (or graham crackers)

  • 1 carton (7 oz / 200 g) heavy cream

  • 1 cup (8.5 fl oz / 250 ml) whole milk

  • Juice of 1 lemon (approx. 0.63 oz / 18 g or 1 ½ tablespoons)

  • Optional garnish: Grated chocolate or lemon zest

Instructions

1. Prepare the Cream Mixture

  • In a large bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, whole milk, and fresh lemon juice.

  • Whisk or beat the mixture using a hand mixer for 2–3 minutes until the cream thickens slightly and becomes silky.

  • Taste and adjust lemon juice to your liking (it should be lightly tangy, not overpowering).

2. Layer the Dessert

  • Use a deep glass or ceramic dish (about 8×8 inches or similar).

  • Pour a thin layer of the cream into the bottom of the dish and spread it evenly.

  • Briefly dip each Maria biscuit in milk (just a quick dip—don’t soak) and place them over the cream in a single layer.

  • Add another layer of cream over the biscuits, spreading to cover completely.

  • Repeat the layering process: cream → dipped biscuits → cream until all ingredients are used.

  • Finish with a layer of cream on top.

3. Decorate

  • Sprinkle grated chocolate, lemon zest, or crushed biscuit crumbs on the top for texture and presentation.

  • For a fancier finish, pipe a border of whipped cream or use mint leaves and thin lemon slices.

4. Chill

  • Cover the dish with plastic wrap or a lid.

  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably 4+ hours or overnight for best results.

  • This gives the biscuits time to soften and absorb the flavors.

Serving

  • Slice and serve chilled.

  • It cuts beautifully once set and has a mousse-like consistency.

  • Great for summer gatherings, potlucks, or easy weeknight desserts.

Tips & Variations

  • Sweeter version: Add 1 tablespoon powdered sugar to the cream if you prefer more sweetness.

  • Fruit variation: Add thin layers of strawberries or bananas between the biscuit layers.

  • Coconut twist: Sprinkle shredded coconut on top instead of chocolate.

  • Dairy-free version: Use coconut cream and almond or oat milk with vegan condensed milk.

Storage

  • Refrigerator: Keeps well for up to 4 days in an airtight container.

  • Freezing: Not ideal, as the texture of the cream may separate.
