✨ Soft & Fluffy Potato Naan Recipe (Aloo Naan) ✨
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp salt
-
½ tsp baking powder
-
2 tbsp oil or melted butter
-
½ cup warm milk (adjust as needed)

¼ cup plain yogurt
-
2 medium potatoes, boiled & mashed
-
1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)
-
2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
-
1 tsp cumin seeds or powder
-
1 tsp garam masala
-
Salt to taste

Butter or ghee for brushing
Instructions:
1️⃣ Make the dough:

In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.

Add yogurt, oil, and warm milk little by little. Knead until soft and smooth.

Cover and rest for 1 hour.
2️⃣ Prepare the filling:

Mix mashed potatoes with green chili, coriander, cumin, garam masala, and salt.

Divide into small portions (about golf ball size).
3️⃣ Assemble the naan:

Divide dough into equal balls.

Roll one dough ball slightly, place a potato filling ball in the center, seal edges, and roll gently into a round or oval naan shape.
4️⃣ Cook the naan:

Heat a tawa or skillet on medium-high.

Place naan and cook until bubbles form, then flip.

Brush with butter or ghee for extra flavor.
5️⃣ Serve hot with yogurt, chutney, or curry.
Tip: For a tandoor-style flavor, cook on one side until bubbles form, then flip and cook directly over open flame for a few seconds.
