Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to fully preheat while you prepare the rolls.

Step 2: Prepare the Crescent Dough

  • Carefully open the can of crescent dough and unroll it on a clean surface.

  • Separate the dough into 8 individual triangles along the perforated lines.

Step 3: Fill with Cherry Pie Filling

  • Place about 1 tablespoon of cherry pie filling on the wide end of each triangle.

  • Be sure to avoid overfilling—this prevents leaks while baking.

Tip: Try to include mostly cherries with minimal syrup to keep it neat.

Step 4: Roll and Seal

  • Starting from the wide end, gently roll up each crescent toward the narrow tip.

  • Lightly pinch the seams closed as you roll to help hold in the filling.

Step 5: Arrange on Baking Sheet

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Place crescent rolls seam-side down, leaving space between each one to allow for puffing during baking.

Step 6: Optional Toppings

  • Brush lightly with melted butter for extra golden color and richness.

  • If desired, sprinkle with cinnamon for warmth and spice.

Step 7: Bake

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until:

    • The crescents are golden brown

    • The dough is cooked through and flaky
