Title: Roast Beef with Potatoes

️ Ingredients:

  • 1.5 kg beef roast
  • 1 kg potatoes, peeled and halved
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Season the beef with salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and garlic.
  3. Sear the beef in a hot pan with olive oil and butter until browned on all sides.
  4. Place the beef in a roasting pan. Add potatoes around it.
  5. Pour beef broth over the meat and potatoes.
  6. Cover with foil and roast for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
  7. Remove foil, baste with juices, and roast uncovered for 15 minutes to brown.
  8. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
