Strawberry Lemonade Cream Float – Full Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Strawberry Layer:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced or chopped)

  • 2 tbsp sugar (or to taste)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For the Lemonade Base:

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)

  • 4 cups cold water

  • ½ – ¾ cup sugar (adjust to taste)

For the Creamy Top:

  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half

  • 1 tbsp sweetened condensed milk (optional for extra creaminess)

  • Ice cubes

Garnishes:

  • Fresh lemon slices

  • Whole or halved strawberries

  • Mint leaves (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Make the Strawberry Compote (Optional):

    • In a small bowl, mix strawberries, 2 tbsp sugar, and 1 tbsp lemon juice.

    • Let sit for 10–15 minutes to macerate until juicy.

    • For a smoother drink, mash lightly or blend briefly.

  2. Prepare the Lemonade:

    • In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice, cold water, and sugar.

    • Stir until the sugar fully dissolves.

    • Add ice cubes and lemon slices to the pitcher.

  3. Assemble the Drink:

    • In each glass, add 2–3 tablespoons of the strawberry mixture.

    • Fill the glass halfway with lemonade.

    • Add a scoop of ice, then slowly pour the cream or half-and-half on top for a beautiful layered effect.

    • Drizzle a little sweetened condensed milk on top if using.

  4. Garnish & Serve:

    • Garnish with a lemon slice and a strawberry.

    • Serve immediately and stir before drinking if preferred.


Tips:

  • Use sparkling water or lemon-lime soda instead of plain water for a fizzy version.

  • Freeze some strawberries or lemon slices to use as ice cubes to avoid dilution.

  • For a dairy-free version, use coconut milk or a plant-based creamer.
