Ingredients
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
Preparation
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish, set aside.
- Add Rice Krispies to a large mixing bowl, set aside.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, add peanut butter, sugar, and corn syrup. Stirring constantly, bring mixture to a boil then remove from heat.
- Immediately pour mixture over the Rice Krispies and stir until evenly coated.
- Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish and press into a flat, even layer using a greased spatula.
- Add chocolate chips and butterscotch chips to a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until the chips are fully melted.
- Pour the melted chips over the pressed cereal and spread into an even layer.
- Allow bars to fully cool before serving.
