Mediterranean Alfredo Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional for depth)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream (or Greek yogurt for a lighter Mediterranean twist)
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
  • Crumbled feta (optional for topping)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Season the wings:

In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

3. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.

4. Make the Alfredo sauce:

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

Pour in heavy cream (or Greek yogurt) and let it gently simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and a little black pepper. Let it cook until the sauce thickens.

5. Coat the wings:

Once the wings are baked and crisp, toss them in the warm Alfredo sauce until coated.

6. Garnish with chopped parsley and crumbled feta if using.
