Mayo Parmesan Chicken Recipe

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter option)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1–2 cloves garlic, minced (optional but adds great flavor)
1 tsp Italian seasoning (or mix of oregano, thyme, basil)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional: ¼ cup breadcrumbs (for a little crunch on top)
Optional: fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prep the chicken:
Pat chicken dry with paper towels.
Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Mix topping:
In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and Italian seasoning.
Coat chicken:
Place chicken in a greased baking dish.
Spread the mayo-Parmesan mixture evenly over the top of each piece.
(Optional) Sprinkle with breadcrumbs for a crispy topping.
Bake:
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes (until internal temp is 165°F / 74°C and top is golden brown).
You can broil the top for 1–2 minutes at the end for extra crispiness.
