Ingredients:
For the Mango Bingsu:
1 cup frozen mango chunks
1 fresh mango, diced
2 cups milk (you can use whole milk, almond milk, or coconut milk for added flavor)
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk (optional, for extra sweetness)
Whipped cream (for topping)
Caramel or mango syrup (for drizzling)
Mint leaves (for garnish)
Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Shaved Ice
Freeze the milk: Pour the milk into an ice cube tray and freeze until solid. This will create a milky shaved ice base that’s creamier and flavorful.
Blend or shave the milk ice cubes: Once frozen, blend the milk ice cubes in a blender until they’re finely shaved or powdery. Alternatively, you can use a special ice shaver if you have one.
Step 2: Assemble the Bingsu
Add mango chunks: Place the shaved milk ice into a bowl, mounding it into a dome shape.
Top with fresh mango: Arrange the fresh mango chunks around the shaved ice and place additional mango pieces on top of the mound for visual appeal.
Drizzle with condensed milk: Pour sweetened condensed milk over the ice for added sweetness, if desired.
Step 3: Add Toppings
Whipped cream: Add a generous swirl of whipped cream on top of the mango mound.
Drizzle with caramel or mango syrup: Drizzle a bit of caramel or mango syrup over the whipped cream and shaved ice.
Garnish with mint leaves: Place a sprig of fresh mint on top for a pop of color.
Dust with powdered sugar: Lightly dust powdered sugar over the dessert for a touch of sweetness and decoration.
