Lemon Almond Ice Cream

Ingredients:
– 2 cups heavy cream
– 1 cup whole milk
– 3/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
– 1 tablespoon lemon zest
– 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
– A pinch of salt
– 1/2 cup sliced almonds (optional)

Directions:
