Homemade Pistachio Ice Cream

Ingredients:
– 2 cups heavy cream
– 1 cup whole milk
– 3/4 cup sugar
– 1/2 cup chopped pistachios
– 1 teaspoon almond extract

Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and almond extract until well combined.
2. Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn it for about 20 minutes until it thickens.
3. Gradually add in the chopped pistachios and churn for an additional 5 minutes.
4. Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze it for at least 4 hours to firm up
