Homemade Grilled Pineapple Ice Cream
Ingredients:
– 1 medium pineapple, peeled and sliced into rings
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1 cup whole milk
– ¾ cup sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– A pinch of salt
– Juice of 1 lime
Directions:
1. Preheat your grill to medium heat. Grill the pineapple rings for about 2-3 minutes on each side until you see those beautiful grill marks and the pineapple is slightly caramelized. Once done, let them cool.
2. In a blender, combine the cooled grilled pineapple with heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and lime juice. Blend everything together until smooth.
3. Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches that perfect soft-serve consistency.
4. Once it’s ready, transfer the ice cream to a lidded container and pop it in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until it’s nice and firm.
5. Scoop it out, serve, and enjoy every bite of your delightful grilled pineapple ice cream!
