Greek Chicken Wraps with Lemon Herb Sauce
Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
1 lb (450g) chicken breasts or thighs, cut into strips
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp paprika
Salt & black pepper, to taste
For the Lemon Herb Sauce:
½ cup Greek yogurt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Salt & black pepper, to taste
For the Wraps:
4 pita breads or flatbreads
1 cup cucumber, diced
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
½ red onion, thinly sliced
½ cup crumbled feta cheese
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions:
Cook chicken: Toss chicken strips with olive oil, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook in a skillet over medium heat 8–10 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Make sauce: Whisk together Greek yogurt, lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Assemble wraps: Warm pita breads. Fill with chicken, cucumber, tomatoes, and red onion. Drizzle generously with lemon herb sauce. Sprinkle with feta and garnish with parsley.
Serve: Serve immediately while warm.
