A No-Bake Cookie Cake transforms the traditional no-bake cookie into a cake!
My son had his birthday last month. When I asked him what he wanted for his birthday dessert, he said he wanted a cookie cake that doesn’t need to be baked.
I didn’t understand, so I asked him many questions.
He told me he wanted me to take my recipe for no-bake cookies and make it into a cake.
I transformed no-bake desserts into a bar using my special recipe, but I was sure it would also make a great cake. I had never seen it turned into a cake recipe, but I was intrigued.
I’m prepared to give it a go.
My daughter is very sensitive to nuts with shells, so instead of making the usual no-bake cookies, I made my own no-bake, no-butter walnut cookie recipe.
List of items needed.
2 cups of sugar
1 serving of butter
Half of a milk container
4 tablespoons of cocoa
1 small spoon of vanilla flavor
3 cups of quick oats. If you want to avoid gluten, use gluten-free quick oats.
Three-fourths of a container of chocolate chips.
GUIDELINES
Heat the four main ingredients until they start bubbling.
Cook for 1 small amount of time.
Put the vanilla, cereal, and chocolate chips in and mix until everything is well combined and the chocolate chips are melted.
Put the mixture into a round baking pan. A container that is 9 or 10 inches in size works really well. If you want to present it on a platter or cake stand, cover the pan with parchment paper.
The shape helps the food come out of the pan more easily.
Put in the fridge until it hardens.
Slice and serve.
These can be stored in the fridge for a few days.
