Crispy Parmesan Chicken with a Rich Garlic Sauce!

**Ingredients:**

* 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
* * 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
* * 1 tsp salt
* * 1/2 tsp black pepper
* * 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* * 1/4 cup olive oil
* * 2 tbsp butter
* * 4 cloves garlic, minced
* * 1/2 cup chicken broth
* * 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

**Instructions:**

1. **Prepare the Chicken:** Place flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish. In a separate shallow dish, place the Parmesan cheese. Dip each chicken breast in the flour mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated. Then, press the chicken into the Parmesan cheese, making sure it adheres nicely.
2. **Cook the Chicken:** Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully place the chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
3. **Make the Sauce:** In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant (don’t let it brown!). Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until slightly thickened. Stir in the parsley (if using).
4. **Serve:** Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the garlic sauce over them. Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes – mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a simple salad are all great options!
